In order to grow the classic era persimmon game I've created this map for members to pin their location. Hopefully as more people join we will see more persimmon meetups and rounds played with other persimmon enthusiasts.
Just click the link below to open the map, find your location on the map and click on add marker and add your forum name. That's it!
Hey I tried it and could not get it to go to SC. Of course I am a technical klutz on this stuff. If you will put it in for me. Garden City Beach SC south of Myrtle beach
Big Stu, the map is working now, select the links then on the map log in with your Gmail to add to the map. You can enter the city and State then select it.
Is that a shared map version ? Seems to have issue adding location to the map even logged on to the Google account.
Try it now guys. Still trying to work out the kinks.
Thanks, the map is working now. We'll see if Big Stu could ad to the map.
I tried it and all it came up with was a little hand when I clicked on SC
Big Stu, I added your location to the map. You're all set. Let me know if you want to be removed from the map.
Thanks for doing that for me I got your PM on WRX

Fellas,
This is not asking someone to play the persimmon wood the first time out with a stranger whom never met before.
This is a vehicle to meet others with similar interest in classic golf equipment. Personally, I have not touched a golf club in months after the surgery and probably should not play the persimmon woods and the blades the first few times out.
It does not mean you could not carry just a couple of the older clubs first time out and gradually work your way into a full bag.
I had no problem using any type of golf club a few years ago, but after some medical complications, everything in this body had gone wrong, so I
m not the golfer I used to be just a few years back.
Some of my friends tried to get me out to play or the driving range..... but I'm not ready, just yet.
We'll see what happens next season.
That does not stop me from posting in the map for the persimmon players.
I know there are quite a few of you whom collect and play the persimmon woods. How come there is only a few on the map ? Just post your city in the map and that should give us proximity where everyone is in case we want to message to get a round together.
I know that I won't be playing any long yardage with the persimmon and blades, even when I was much younger, I preferred the total yardage to be under 6,400.
